Crystal Chrysanthemums
Frozen rain numbs the pain
Of another brush with happiness
But as the ice melts it waters the field
Where the wild flowers bloom
In multi-color splendor
And happiness seems closer than before
The blues, reds, and yellows
Make my tears dry on my cheek
And I yearn for someone to watch with me
That dream remains lost in time
But the crystal chrysanthemums are mine
