Happy Clouds

April 25th, 2008 | Category: Poem

Watery wisps dance a waltz
Of wonderful remembrance and playful exuberance
As they paint for joy and those who know to look
At the drama of creativity unfolding overhead
Do they smile at me when I look?
Do they dance for me?
The patterns they make tell stories from long ago
And tomorrow
Of love and hope and sometimes sorrow
These clouds are different- they tell a new tale
They form shapes of mirth and music
And cause the eyes to dance to their tune
Drifting from form to form
Shaped by unseen forces
Drawn to them by the beauty of it all
Darting from east to west and touching birds and blue sky
As they pass by
These clouds are content in their imaginary realm
Tracing life as we see it and telling us they see it too
Sharing our time by offering humor
For me to laugh at
And if you are quiet
You can hear then laugh with you as well
For they are Happy Clouds
